A bit sunburnt

So this Is my first time ever really trying to draw people so I'm sorry they don't look all that amazing! But this is for a contest! I've worked really hard on it so I hope you like it!
staring:  Dulce somnii and Khaleesi 

stroy: Dulce somnii felt bored at home as so scrolled through deviant art in her phone ice cream melting away in a bowl. the pale girl had not been out almost all of summer, no one had invited her anywhere nor had she invited anyone to go somewhere fun, then an idea popped into her mind. What if she invited her friend Khaleesi to the beach?! Dulce somnii felt she really needed the sun. She quickly closed deviant art and clicked right into her contacts, she swiped down slightly until she reached the K section, tapping on her good friend Khaleesi's name. She tapped the speaker phone, a few rings went by making her a bit worried she would not pick up. One more ring went by and Khaleesi finally picked up the phone. " hello Khaleesi! How are you?!" Dulce somnii basically cheered. Khaleesi took a moment to respond as Dulce somnii had spoken so quickly. 'hello Dulce, I'm pretty good, how are you?" Khaleesi replied before she knew it dulce was all ready replying not taking a second to think. " oh never mind myself! I'm just glad your doing good. Hey, I was wonder if maybe you wanted to go down to the beach? I've been meaning to get some sun but didn't want to go alone." Dulce somnii spoke quickly before waiting for Khaleesi's reply. Once again a moment passed by before Khaleesi replied. " erm... sure? I'll get ready to go, meet you there in ten." Khaleesi agreed to go along with dulce somnii. Before Dulce somnii could say something Khaleesi hung up. Dulce laughed it off before running off to get ready. Dulce picked out her favorite salmon two piece, slipping it on before running out the door locking it behind her. Khaleesi arrived at the beach a few minutes before dulce somnii, she put down her things and things for dulce because she knew dulce would forget her own stuff. She put up her pink umbrella and placed a purple and a blue towel down. Before she knew what was happing she was wrapping in a bear hug. " hello dulce, it's nice to see you too." She spoke as she waited for dulce to let go. " hello Khaleesi! How did you know it was me?" She asked with a giggle before letting Khaleesi out of her bear hug. ' aweee you got stuff for me! I'm glad you did because I forgot mine." Dulce giggled dimly. " oh, it's no problem, I had a thought that you might forget... anyways I brought some cool stuff.' Khaleesi reached into a bag pulling out a bucket and pale and.... sapphire gems?! Why in the world would she bring those? Dulce tilting her head sliced but ignored the itch to ask. She also noticed that Khaleesi's swimsuit was a sapphire color as well. Khaleesi smiled before grabbing the bucked and pale along with the sapphire gemstones. " shall we make a sandcastle first?" She asked holding the items close to her. Dulce somnii nodded her head before running to a clear spot. " how about here?!" She asked cheerfully. ' that works." Khaleesi smiled as she walked over to dulce somnii, the both of them sitting down. They both grinned at each other before going to town. Making a tower, and two other towers, small windows and a door. Thirty minutes past both girls sweating by now. Khaleesi grabbed the sapphire gemstones and lines the edges with them. Kissing the tips of her fingers and tossing them in the air. " perfect!" She giggled as she looked at their masterpiece. Dulce somnii shifted her weight squinting st their masterpiece. "Hm... needs... hold on.' Dulce stood to her feet running down to the water, grabbing a bug pink shell before running back. Placing it in the middle of the top tower. " almost perfect!' Dulce somnii grinned before placing a white flag on top. They both turned looking at each other with a smile. " it perfect!" They both cheer at the same time making them giggle. " now what?" Khaleesi asked. Dulce somnii shrugged as she thought. " lets go tan for a bit? I really need some sun." She replied looking at her pale white skin. Khaleesi nodded as she stood up. Both walking to the tooled and lying down under the umbrella. Dulce somnii sighed happily before starting to doze off, Khaleesi doing the same. After an hour both the girls woke, Khaleesi looked at dulce somnii and giggled. Dulce tilted her head before feeling a weird feeling on her back, ignoring it she questioned Khaleesi. " what is it?" She asked. Khaleesi giggled once more before replying. " your skin looks as bright red as that crab on your back." She said with a tilted grin. Dulce somnii's eyes winded as she looked towards her back, her now bright red skin matched the crabs, she screemed jumping up shaking the crab off. " oh my god! That was so scary!" She cried feeling those weird ting,es you get when seeing a bug all over. Khaleesi stood up refreshed from her nap while dulce somnii was still spooked. They both giggled it off before trying to think of something to do. " how about we go play volley ball?" Suggested Khaleesi. Dulce somnii nodded in a Agreement. As they started walking down to the volleyball hey Khaleesi noticed something in the sand... a sand dolllar! What a awesome discovery. Khaleesi showed it to dulce somnii whom was impressed by the awesome find. After the awesome find they went down to go play some volleyball. Khaleesi kicked dulce somnii's butt but the game was still fun for both of them. At the end of the day both girls where tired and dulce somnii looked like a lobster. Hopefully they will go out and do this again soon.
